The Walk for Water is a fun-filled 5K field walk and BBQ organized by Women Making a Difference to raise $35,000 for a large water project in drought-stricken Burkina Faso, in western Africa.
Event Details:
Where: 2776 South Talbot Rd, Cottam, ON (map)
When: 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 3rd, rain or shine
Distance: 5km – No time limit
Lunch: BBQ hosted by Triple G Ranch
The minimum pledge to walk with us is $100. (All gifts over $20 will receive a tax receipt)

Donate to the Kona Water Project
The funds will be used to drill two boreholes with pumps and build a block of five badly-needed public latrines for the Village of Kona.
