Safe House Renovations Are Done!

International Needs Kenya

Real Hope Youth Community Organization (RHYCO), has officially opened their new safe house compound in Kawangware slum, Nairobi. They took possession in November and spent the next few months renovating. What started out as a filthy junkyard has now become a beautiful refuge for children who have been abused.

Some children have already moved in, and plans are in place to identify and rescue others who are at high risk of abuse, often by parents and other relatives. The RHYCO team told us that …

“While the renovations were a lot of work, the hard part starts now. We’re facing situations where children have been badly abused, and things got much worse during the pandemic.”

Thank you for your support.
If you feel called to give, the Safe House will have many operational expenses as they care for the children. You can give at the below link or call our office.
