Ophel Medical Centre
This project seeks to equip the Ophel Medical Centre in Burkina Faso with essential emergency medical equipment.
The Problem
The Ophel Medical Centre in Bobo Dioulasso plays a crucial role in providing affordable healthcare to thousands of patients annually. However, a steady rise in patient numbers has placed increasing pressure on its limited resources. Insufficient or unreliable medical equipment further hampers the centre’s ability to deliver effective care, putting its services—and the vulnerable populations it serves—at significant risk.
The Project
This project aims to enhance the Ophel Medical Centre’s capacity by equipping it with essential emergency medical tools, including a defibrillator, electrocardiogram machine, monitoring device, oxygen tanks, high-concentration masks, and adjustable beds. These additions will address critical shortages and replace unreliable equipment.
