Nanankor Clean Water Project

The water is flowing!

PhASE 1 • CONSTRUCTION IS DONE
Despite delays from COVID, the borehole was drilled successfully. Members of the community in Nanankor, Ghana pitched in joyfully to dig trenches and lay pipes.

PHASE 2 – FUNDRAISING IS COMPLETE
When finished, these two phases will reduce the amount of time women and children walk each day to fetch water. More importantly, there will be a significant reduction in water-borne illness, and the people of Nanankor are thrilled to have a source of fresh water in their community.

WOMEN MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Thank you for leading the fundraising and completing your 11th water project with us! International Needs and Nanankor are grateful for your commitment. We’re looking forward to kicking off project #12 with you in 2021!
