Meet Henriette, a student who recently joined the Meet Henriette, a student who recently joined the tailoring program offered through tertiary student sponsorship in Burkina Faso.

Before enrolling, Henritte struggled to find meaningful work or a clear vision for her future. Although she had a desire to learn sewing, she had no prior experience and was unsure of where to begin.

That began to change when Henriette joined the tailoring program. Since enrolling, Henriette's skills and confidence have grown immensely. Though challenging at first, with time and guidance she quickly began improving her sewing abilities.

Now, Henriette is able to sew complete outfits and has a clearer vision for her life. She dreams of becoming a professional tailor with a workshop to train and inspire other girls who, like her, have a passion to see themselves achieve greater.

Through tertiary sponsorship, you can help more young adults build purpose-driven futures and gain the skills needed to pursue them.

As a small Mother’s Day follow-up, we wanted to sh As a small Mother’s Day follow-up, we wanted to share a few of the mothers, sisters, and caregivers behind the children attending the early childhood development and nutrition program in Guatemala. 💙

In the first photo is Eliam, a shy but determined 3½-year-old who has continued to grow in confidence through the program. Eliam has shown some of the most noticeable growth in communication, cognitive development, sensory learning, and social interaction. Teachers have especially seen him become more engaged with others and more confident participating in activities.

In the second photo is Dalia, who first came to the program as a baby who was fearful of strangers. Today, she is a cheerful little girl continuing to make meaningful developmental progress. Her mother regularly attends cooking classes and works hard to support Dalia’s health after she showed signs of chronic malnutrition when first attending the program. Over time, Dalia has made strong progress in independence, cognitive development, sensory learning, and fine motor skills, while continuing to grow socially and emotionally within the program environment.

In the final photos are Mario Augusto and Noé with their older sister Carolina, who now helps care for them after the loss of their mother in late 2024. Carolina brings them to sessions while also helping support her family at home, carrying responsibilities well beyond her years. Since joining the program, both boys have shown meaningful growth in areas like cognitive development, sensory learning, independence, and daily habits.

Behind every child’s growth is someone continuing to show up each day for them. Thank you to all the mothers, sisters, grandmothers, and caregivers whose care and perseverance continue to shape the next generation. 💙

Meet Alice, a 10-year-old girl in Limuru who regul Meet Alice, a 10-year-old girl in Limuru who regularly attends the Saturday Bible Club program led by her local church in Kenya.

With her mother working tirelessly to provide for the family, Alice often had long stretches of unstructured time and few safe, meaningful places to spend it.

That began to change when she started attending the Bible Club. There, Alice received healthy meals, mentorship, and the opportunity to learn about God in a caring and supportive environment. Along the way, teachers began to notice her passion for singing and drama. As she became more involved in the program, her confidence grew, along with her sense of belonging and connection with those around her.

By supporting the Limuru Bible Clubs, you can help more children like Alice experience consistent care, mentorship, and a safe place to grow alongside others in their community.

Cassie began this fundraiser after seeing the condition of washroom facilities in rural schools in Ghana while providing care on an International Needs Canada medical trip. These spaces had no running water, little privacy, and conditions that made it difficult for students to use, especially for girls during their menstrual cycle.

Currently, Cassie has raised $20,185 and is hosting a golf tournament to help her reach her goal.

Event Details:

Not only does child sponsorship break barriers to Not only does child sponsorship break barriers to education, it also restores hope for families who want to see their children thrive.

This is the case for Hellen, a mother of five whose life took a turn when her husband, the sole breadwinner for their family, passed away in 2014.

Reflecting on her loss, Hellen shared the uncertainty she felt about the future and what God had in store. Taking on menial jobs, she stepped up to support her five children, but her efforts could only go so far.

This changed in 2015, when she learned that her daughter Grace would be a recipient of child sponsorship. Not only did this ease the financial burden, but it also strengthened Hellen's faith and renewed her hope during a challenging time.

While Grace's story is still being written, Hellen can already see the impact sponsorship has had on her daughter.

“My daughter is in grade 9 and has a bright future because of child sponsorship. She has grown in her skills, helps me at home, goes to church, and most importantly, has developed a strong vision for her life. I can only say thank you for such an impact on my family."

By sponsoring a child, you can help more families see their children thrive. To learn more about child and group sponsorship in Kenya, visit our website using the link in our bio.

This year's Walk for Water is raising funds to bri This year's Walk for Water is raising funds to bring clean water and sanitation to the village of Mana, Burkina Faso. 💧

Why Mana?

Mana faces extreme poverty and a harsh climate, and with droughts lasting up to nine months each year, women and girls walk long distances to fetch water from rivers or shallow wells. These sources are often contaminated, spreading diseases such as cholera and dysentery and making it difficult for families to stay healthy.

The village's lack of proper toilets further contaminates water sources and threatens the health of the entire community.

When you walk for water, your support helps drill two boreholes and five latrines, providing the village of Mana reliable, clean and safe water for drinking and improved sanitation.

Meet Bunnorm from Cambodia, whose journey was shap Meet Bunnorm from Cambodia, whose journey was shaped by the support he received through education.

Bunnorm was raised by his grandparents from a young age. Despite their care, he still experienced the effects of poverty, including food insecurity at home.

This began to change when he started attending our partners' after-school learning program for children aged 4-18, designed to address gaps in public education while supporting their overall development.

Through the program, students receive educational support alongside meals, collaborative activities, hygiene lessons, and opportunities to grow in faith in Jesus.

From the age of 7 until he graduated high school, the program's holistic approach gave Bunnorm the educational, nutritional, emotional, and social support he needed to continue learning and pursue his dreams.

With this foundation and the encouragement of his teachers, Bunnorm studied hard and persevered through technical school, and now works as an electrician in the city.

Today, this program is supported through group sponsorship, where monthly giving helps provide consistent care for children and youth. Your support can help more children receive the holistic care they need to thrive in school and build sustainable futures.
