Meet Evans, who has been transforming Bella Ciao i Meet Evans, who has been transforming Bella Ciao in Kenya with colourful paintings, murals, signage, and even an alumni board. 🎨

Evans grew up in Kibera Slum and developed an interest in art at a young age. As a teenager, his mother supported him in attending workshop classes at a local centre. Afterwards, he began selling his artwork to help fund his education. Today, he works at a local market but also teaches art to children and youth at Bella Ciao.

Evans shares, “Growing up in Kibera Slum, I have seen many friends go astray, with some falling into substance abuse and others losing their lives. My dream is to help empower children and youth through art, using what they learn not only to be creative but also as a form of therapy, as it has been for me.”
Our Ghana medical team has completed their outreac Our Ghana medical team has completed their outreach trip, serving vulnerable children and communities through several school clinics, while also equipping our global partners with valuable data to support long-term transformation.

Our medical team is nearing the end of their outre Our medical team is nearing the end of their outreach trip in Ghana! Yesterday marked outreach number five, where the team held a general medical clinic at Lasivenu Community School. Some common diagnoses included high blood pressure and schistosomiasis (a parasitic infection caused by worms).

The team’s service continues to support our global partners as they explore opportunities to implement nutritional intervention programs, recognizing that good nutrition can help prevent conditions like high blood pressure and strengthen the body’s ability to recover from illness and infections. 🩺🍎

Swipe through photos of our team, and let’s continue to encourage them as they enter the last stretch of their medical trip!

These sewing machines and computers will equip students with valuable technical skills to prepare them for the future. At the same time, training and employing parents in textile production and sales after school will help further strengthen the school’s long-term sustainability.

Thank you to the generous donors who made this initiative possible! These additions join other programs and projects at ZACTS that continue to support student growth and the school’s ongoing development.

Today, they are at a school in the community of Kanuwloe, helping assess the state of malnutrition among students. This data will play a key role in determining the most effective intervention methods to improve nutrition moving forward.

Check out photos of our team’s outreach and leave a comment or like to encourage them as they continue serving vulnerable children and communities! 💙🤍
Last week, the children and mothers from the Survi Last week, the children and mothers from the Survive and Thrive program went on a special field trip to Guatemala City! They visited the city’s Children’s Museum, where the children explored hands-on exhibits that sparked curiosity and learning. They pretended to be firefighters, shopped in a mini supermarket, and built towers to learn about earthquakes and how to make stronger houses. The day ended with playtime at the park, laughter, and wonderful memories for both the children and their mothers. 💕

Now, we’re taking the next big step: rebuilding and expanding Savar to welcome even more girls in need of protection from child marriage and exploitation.

🚧 We’re excited to share that construction is officially underway! Progress so far includes:
 • A fully staffed construction team
 • Security fencing, cameras, and guards to keep the children and site safe
 • A new gated access road separating school activities from construction
 • Temporary accommodations for younger girls, kitchen, storage, and office space
 • Dismantling of old facilities and relocation of the playground
 • Foundation work for the new dormitory
 • A joyful cornerstone-laying ceremony marking this new chapter

Thank you to everyone supporting this life-changing project. 💙 Several phases of the expansion are still ahead, and your support can help make them possible.
