The Naogoan Free School

Light in the darkness

This week we’ve been sharing information on some of the terrible ways children are being exploited in Bangladesh.

In the midst of all the atrocities stands a beautiful school in rural northwest Bangladesh, built in cooperation between International Needs Bangladesh, Canada, New Zealand and US. Naogoan Free School provides a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable children who are at risk of exploitation. Many of the children at the school were abandoned at train stations or living in horrible conditions in the slums of Dhaka; our partner in Bangladesh found and welcomed these forgotten children with open arms.
